About ISICPM

The concept of Perioperative Medicine is gaining popularity in western world but awareness about it is still to hold its grip amongst anaesthesiologists in India. Anaesthesiologist now wish to change the image of “Doctor standing behind the curtain and mask” to be more recognised amongst patients. The very purpose of forming the Indian society of “Intensive Care and Perioperative Medicine” is to emphasize the role of Anaesthesiologists in these elds. Together we need to establish our roles, before other specialties take over.
